I've always had canned answer to that since 6th grade. I knew that next to debut, wedding is the grandest event I can ever think of. I even made a list of entourage already and not to mention my wedding gown is already in black and white (yes, at 6th grade!) Wedding by the beach, everyone wearing their own Hawaiian inspired gown, exchanging vows under the sun starting to shine and caressing the wind as I throw my wedding bouquet. What could be more perfect than that?
As I grow older, my vision of my wedding day start to change. Now, it doesn't really matter where or what motif it will be on the big day. What's more important is who your groom will be (which is a little crucial) and your life together (which is a LOT more crucial!). Marriage is much more than the wedding bells. It's a lifetime commitment. That same person you'll exchange your vows with will be the same person you'll be with when you're already old and gray and when there's nothing left with you even your own set of teeth.
I don't know what my wedding would be like. Simple? Grand? Hawaiian inspired? Traditional? I don't really care now. As long as I'd be with "the one" God has prepared to be with me through thick and thin, for richer or for poorer, for better or for worse...
